Opening times and admission

Gypsotheca and Museum

From Tuesday to Saturday, 9.30am – 6.00pm
Sunday and public holidays, 9.30am – 7.00pm
Last admission one hour before closing time.

Public holidays (Easter Monday, 25 April, 2 June, 15 August, 1 November, 26 December)

Closing days
Monday (public holidays excluded), 1 January, Easter, Christmas

CHRISTMAS HOLIDAYS

The Museum will be closed on the 23th, 24th and 25th of December, it will be open on the 30th and 31st (last entrance at 15.30).

The Museum offices are open from Tuesday to Friday, 9.30am – 12.30am and 2.30pm – 5pm.

Admission

full price € 10.00

reduced € 6.00: senior over 65, students under 25, police, invalid and disabled, card-holders of Touring Club, ACI, FAI, The Venice International Foundation and TRA – Treviso Ricerca Arte, groups of 20 people minimum (reservation is compulsory)

Until the 22nd of November, the holders of an entrance ticket to Magister Canova will be admitted, upon validation, to the Gypsotheca e Museo Antonio Canova at the reduced price of € 6.00. Vice versa, the holders of an entrance ticket to the Gypsotheca e Museo Antonio Canova will be admitted to Magister Canova at the reduced price of € 10.00.

school groups € 6.00: school groups of any grade enjoy free guided tours (reservation is compulsory, 21 people minimum)

families € 22.00: the price includes the entrance fee to the Museum for two parents and any number of children under 25

free: for teachers and professors accompanying school groups, children under the age of 7, announced journalists appointed by their own newspaper, ICOM card-holders, residents of Possagno, individuals accompanying invalid and disabled

events: in case of exceptional opening days and special visits, the price may be subject to change.

Getting here

By car:
For those coming from highway A4 (Venice-Trieste) take the “Vicenza Nord” exit and continue on SR53, P20 and SP26, following directions for Possagno.
For those coming from highway A13 take the “Padova” exit and continue on SR308, SR245 and SP20, following directions for Possagno.

By plane:
The closest airports are the Marco Polo Airport in Venice (60 minutes away) and the A. Canova Airport in Treviso (45 minutes away).

By train:
The closest railway stations are in Bassano del Grappa (25 minutes away), Castelfranco Veneto (30 minutes away) and Cornuda (15 minutes away).

By bus

Canovian Temple of Possagno
